Operation America Strong

The skies were perfect for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels salute to our frontline workers in Houston, this past Wednesday, May 6, 2020. As we all know, these are definitely uncertain times. However, yesterday’s salute reminded us of the importance to stay strong and to support each other.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels, conducted a 30-minute flyover above the Greater Houston area for Operation America Strong to honor the health care providers and first responders who are on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. The flyover began at 12:30 p.m. in The Woodlands, then they traveled south towards Spring and moved east towards the Humble area before heading south to the city of Houston.

All of our DWT employees took a moment to step outside the facility and enjoy the magnificent fly over. Our eyes were set to the skies as the planes flew their route over our city. It was special, heartwarming, and beautiful, even for the split moment that we saw it.

This incredible tribute to our frontline workers was definitely patriotic plus it was an excellent way to show the unified resolve of the country. Though, we are currently navigating a difficult time in our community, this amazing flyover was a unique opportunity to remind each one of us to stay strong.
