Extruder screens and polymer filters are just two of the varieties of filtration products offered by Dorstener Wire. Polymer and fiber processing requires a wide range of filters and filter media for processing, finishing and recycling the materials. Dorstener Wire Tech has over 15 years experience in manufacturing extruder screens and screen packs for the polymer and fiber industries. We offer standard and custom products, designed to meet the demanding requirements of the industry. All of our screens are produced and shipped from our Spring, Texas location, ensuring on-time delivery for your production schedule.
Our product line includes wire cloth and wire mesh screens for plastic recycling processing, virgin plastic production and blown film applications. In addition, we manufacture spin pack screens and gaskets for synthetic fiber production.

Auto Screen Belts
Reverse Dutch Weave belts slit to size with rubbed edges. All of our belts meet or exceed OEM requirements.
Cylindrical extruder screens
DWT specializes in all types of cylindrical elements for the extrusion process. We have many mesh options that can offer a more even and lower pressure drop.
Frame Packs
We can design and manufacture frame packs and spot-weld packs to meet your specific application requirements. We offer a wide range of weaves, materials and finishes to provide you with a part that meets your needs.
Spot-Weld Packs
Weld packs provide easy insertion of the replacement screen into the screen changer by eliminating pack assemblies. Use of DWT’s weld packs will reduce internal labor and production costs.
Pleated Spin Packs
Pleated Spin packs provide an aluminum or stainless steel binder that acts as a seal around the outside diameter of the screen pack and breaker plate. We offer a multitude of mesh combinations to ensure optimal efficiency.
Custom Filters & Gaskets
We can design and manufacture custom filters and gaskets to meet your specific application requirements, whether they are for original equipment designs or replacement parts for existing process machinery. We offer a wide range of weaves, materials and finishes to provide you with a part that meets your needs.
Ultrasonic cleaning is available for all parts and parts are available in stainless steel and carbon steel alloys.
